Matteo Sr obtained his CPA License in 1985 and is a current member of the National Association of Certified Business Valuators and Analysts. He began his professional career as an Independent Financial Auditor with a top International Public Accounting firm. There he evaluated the financial statements and operations of hundreds of companies from Mom & Pops to Fortune 500s. He then devoted 30 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigations where he held leadership positions for 15 of those years in 6 different cities, to include Central Europe and East Africa. He specialized in complex financial investigations and other matters. Leveraging his leadership skills and experience, he then became an Independent Consultant providing Leadership Training in the Middle East for 5 years. He since founded the BridgeStone Group and serves as its President.

Matteo started his career as Business Broker as the VP of Business Transitions for Sunbelt Business Brokers of Knoxville, TN. Prior to that, he was a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting (a top International Consulting Firm), where he consulted with Fortune 500 companies on a variety of large scale Organizational Transformation projects. He is now the Owner / President of a manufacturing company in Oak Ridge, TN, as well as Managing Partner of Hoffman Farms.
Matteo is a valued member of the company who brings management consulting experience, engineering, and a manufacturing background to our team. What sets him apart from other Business Brokers is that as an Owner of a manufacturing business, he will have a much deeper understanding of your business, which is essential when communicating with potential buyers. On our team, he is focused on manufacturing, scientific, and retail businesses as he has completed successful transactions in all those industries.
Matteo lives in East Tennessee. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech, with a 3.7 GPA in Mechanical Engineering. He was the President of the Interfraternity Council and a finalist for Mr. Georgia Tech.

As a valued member of the BridgeStone Group, Jay brings significant insight to Business Acquisitions. He began his professional career with Deloitte Consulting in Atlanta, GA consulting with Fortune 500 companies on a number of strategic and Organizational Transformation issues. While he enjoyed the fast-paced work environment, as well as the diverse range of company cultures and unique issues, he was passionate about entrepreneurship. A few years ago, he seized the opportunity to purchase his own business, and he is now co-owner of a manufacturing company in Oak Ridge, TN.
Jay now lives in East Tennessee. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in Economics. He is a voracious podcast listener, enjoys running, and serves on the board of Young Professionals of Knoxville.

Joe is a licensed commercial real estate agent with 38 years of experience. He has worked as a representative of regional and national companies such as: Union Real Estate Co., American Eagle Outfitters, General Nutrition Corp, and Crown American Properties. Joe has worked with all types of businesses from retailers and restaurants to medical, insurance and legal practices. As a valued member of the BridgeStone Group, Joe brings significant insight into all issues related to purchase and/or sale of commercial real estate.
